AAUW Fund – Undesignated

The AAUW Fund is a general fund for unrestricted gifts, which are used when and where they are most needed. This prevents overfunded and underfunded areas that keep AAUW from reaching our full mission potential. By donating to the AAUW Fund, you are helping incubate and grow our highly successful, community-based, mission-driven programs, such as Girls for STEM, Start Smart and Work Smart, Elect Her, the Legal Advocacy Fund, the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, the AAUW National Convention, research, and other initiatives.

You can contribute to a specific fund within AAUW Funds or give an undesignated gift to be used where it is needed most.

Legal Advocacy Fund

Since 1981 the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund has helped students, faculty, staff, and administrators in higher education to challenge discriminatory practices such as sexual harassment, denial of tenure or promotion, pay inequity, and inequality in women’s athletics programs. It now addresses discrimination in all work places.

LAF raises funds to assist women seeking judicial redress for sex discrimination in higher education and the work place. Contributions are tax deductible.
