The Girls for STEM conference will be held at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 6301 Riverdale Avenue, Riverdale (Bronx), New York 10471. Registration on the day of the conference will take place in the lobby of the Hayes Auditorium. Enter the college through the main gate at Riverdale Avenue and 263rd Street and follow signs to Hayes Auditorium.
Driving To Campus
The Riverdale (Bronx) campus of the College of Mount Saint Vincent is located 12 miles north of Manhattan, on the shore of the Hudson River.
From Westchester:
Take Saw Mill Pkwy South, continue on Henry Hudson Pkwy
Take exit 22 for W 254 St toward Riverdale Ave/CMSV
Turn left at the stop sign and go one block to Riverdale Ave
Turn right and proceed north on Riverdale Ave to 263rd St
Turn left into the campus
Stop at the gate for directions and parking information
Proceed to Hayes Auditorium to sign in – #9 on the campus map
From Manhattan:
Head north on Manhattan’s West Side Highway to Henry Hudson Parkway North
Take Exit 22, West 253rd Street
Turn right at the stop sign and bear right over the parkway to Riverdale Avenue
Follow Riverdale Avenue to 263rd Street
Turn left into the campus
Stop at the gate for directions and parking information
Proceed to Hayes Auditorium to sign in – #9 on the campus map
Using Public Transportation
By Subway:
Take the #1 train bound to 242nd Street & Van Cortlandt Park
Get off at 242nd Street station
Free College of Mount Saint Vincent (CMSV) shuttle buses from 242nd St station will be available on the day of the conference. The bus will make roundtrips every 15 minutes starting at 7:30 am and are positioned in front of Burger King.*
By Bus:
The BX 7 and BX 10 buses bound for Riverdale can be taken to 263rd St. The College of Mount Saint Vincent is the last stop.
(Both buses stop at the 231 St #1 train station)
By Express Bus:
The BxM1 and BxM2 north to Riverdale terminate at 263rd St. in front of the College of Mount Saint Vincent. However, on Saturdays, they arrive too late for the conference.
Shuttle Bus
*Shuttle Service to Campus: The shuttles are white buses marked SUPERTRANS for the company that runs the college shuttle service. If you have a problem with the shuttle bus, please call 718-405-3434 for Campus Security. Note that this shuttle service is not always available.
